 I have a passion for parks and recreation and professional development, and I've dedicated this site to exploring what it's like to be an enthusiast in your own profession. On this site, you will find a unique view of what it's like to experience parks and recreation from behind the desk and out from under it.  

Growing up on a small beach resort in Southern Michigan shaped my love for nature and adventure early on. Glistening lakes, sun-kissed days, and snow-covered trails meant that the world was never boring. With the right gear, a pocket knife, a bike, a tackle box, or whatever it took, there wasn't anything you couldn't conquer.

It was only logical then that when I became of age, I would start my working career at the local rec center. What began as a way to make some quick cash for summer expenses turned into impactful experiences and relationships built to last.

 As an experienced Director of Education and Training, Anthony Iracki is dedicated to making a positive impact in the park and recreation industry. Based in Michigan, he's passionate about promoting equity, innovative programming, and community engagement.
